PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

Fest2Fall is serious about protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our platform.

If you choose to share it with us, we collect the following types of data:

  1. Personal Data. If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, or apply to be a vendor or volunteer, we will ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include, but is not limited to: your name, email address, and other information needed to process your application.
  2. Transactional Data. We collect certain information in order to process transactions — so you can have festival tickets! This may include information like credit card numbers, the associated address, and the details of your transaction (time processed, dollar amount).
  3. Usage Data. We also collect some anonymized information about the use of our website through a Meta Pixel and through Google Analytics. This may include information such as your operating system, browser version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other data. See the section below on Cookies and Tracking Technologies for more information.

The Data we collect is used for various purposes:

  • To conduct transactions so we can provide you with a great festival experience
  • To measure internal business performance
  • To provide you with updates on our events on an opt-in basis
  • To improve the design and functionality of our website
  • To provide customer support

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data to marketers or unaffiliated third parties. We only share your personal data with trusted entities, as outlined below:

  1. Service Providers: We may engage service providers to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you; for example, cloud analytics tools that allow us to improve this website.
  2. Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, or to respond to claims, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, employees, customers, or the public.
  3. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal data may be among the assets transferred.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

We protect any data that you provide to us on Fest2Fall assets such as this website. If you use one of our service providers to purchase tickets, or apply to be a volunteer or vendor, then you are subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

We regularly review and update our data security processes.

You have rights regarding your personal data. These include the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer your data, as well as the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at the address below.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website uses the Meta Pixel, an analytics tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc (the parent company of Facebook).

The Meta Pixel collects data about our website visitors that helps us track conversions from Facebook or Instagram ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to individuals who have already taken some kind of action while on our websites. Meta uses cookies in this process.

We also use Google Analytics to collect anonymized statistics about visits to this website. We do not allow Google to collect personalized remarketing data.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies when you first visit our website or by clicking below.

You can also control your Meta privacy settings and ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/settings and https://accountscenter.facebook.com/ads. Learn more in Facebook’s help article about ad preferences.

Data Retention

We retain and protect your data as long as you use our services. You can request that we delete your account or remove your data at any time using the contact information below.

Deletions will be processed within 30 calendar days of your request. When we delete your data, we will remove all personal information, but please note that secondary data, such as anonymized transaction dates and amounts, may not be removed. This secondary data will have no link whatsoever to your identity or former account.
